So there is a book that I’m hoping to have in my hands really really soon. Dot Dot Dash; Designer Toys, Action Figures and Character Art is the news book from the dudes at Pictoplasma. Here is some info from the book’s website;

    The book is great! Several kilos of character art, and I am happy to be in it. Start making your own 3D-versions of your characters!
