Make sure to hit up your local newsstand and pick up the latest issue of Computer Arts magazine. This months issue digs deep into the world of character art and gives some real insight into exploring the different fields that character art can be applied to from fashion illustration to designer toys. There is a great spotlight on contemporary character artist James Jarvis who also designed the cover art as well.

Aniboom is an online community for animators and animation! There is tons of great animations on there, you’ll get a great kick out of all the different animators. There is a huge $50,000 reward for the best submitted animation. So get crackin’ people. The site is still in beta, and even though i love the content and the idea, the look and feel of the site could use a little sprucing up.

Overall, I think it’s a site checking out and hanging out on. It’ll be interesting how we might be working together when Mojizu releases MojiFlicks section!! Real exciting stuff.
