The Mojicon Dispenser

Thursday, March 16th, 2006

You may be curious about a new feature that we are starting to message called the Mojicon dispenser. This is a piece of software that users can download to their computer. It then allows then to access and select individual Mojis and insert them into their web communications, including web mail and instant messenger. We thought people might be getting a little bored with smiley faces, and want something with a lot more attitude.

What does this mean for the artists? Well, the Mojicon dispenser is free so it is not a direct revenue generator for the artists, however, when somebody uses your Moji in a message, it means that your creation is being distributed around the world virally. Then, if the recipient of the message is curious about the Moji they can click on it and will be taken to a Mojizu page on the site, where your profile will be displayed. From here they can easily check out the rest of your Mojis, and easily get to your merchandise in the store. More exposure for you and a bigger fan base. We are planning on launching in the next month or so. Let us know what you think.
